Everyone has experienced that feeling of panic while being out of the office. You aren’t as connected, work is piling up on your desk, and those emails just keep coming in while you are gone. With that said, leaving for a work conference is a tougher pill to swallow than leaving for vacation, but that refreshed feeling with invigorating ideas that comes to you is the most amazing feeling in the world!
A couple of weeks ago our President, Vice President, and Marketing Manager traveled to sunny (and humid) Orlando for a week-long immersion at the Trust X Alliance Conference. If you aren’t familiar with what the Trust X Alliance is, you can view our previous blog about it, but the short version is that it is an exclusive group of other I.T. companies that share ideas and best practices. It is just one of the things that set us apart from our competition.
During the conference, the team got one-on-one time with vendors to learn about their new products and offerings. NUcrew also asked questions about current services to see which might benefit our customers the most. After all, the most important thing that comes out of these events is creating the best solution for our clients. The Trust X team brought in some phenomenal speakers to talk about the most critical security threats happening. NUcrew learned the best solutions to keep our customer’s network’s the most secure.
The Networks Unlimited team also got time with their smaller chapter, called the Heartland Chapter. The Heartland Chapter dove into topics more relevant to our similar locations and problems. The smaller group gathering allows sharing of best practices. This group shares opinions freely allowing organizations to “fix” those pesky problems once and for all! The nice thing is, no matter what problem you are facing, a partner has probably already worked through it and has a great tech solution to share.
The Networks group each brought a different viewpoint to the seminars and discussions. President, Mark Swain, tended to focus on the high-level organizational challenges, while Vice President, Preston Thornburg dove head first into the security issues and solutions. Marketing Manager, Laura Peters focused her efforts on, what else, the marketing and promotional aspects of IT. With these different viewpoints, conversations after each session were animated and all-encompassing.
With vigor and enthusiasm, the team was happy to head home after filling their brains to the brim! Feeling refreshed and ready to be back, even with the emails and voicemails piled up from being gone a week, NUcrew is prepared to keep up the highest level of customer service and tailoring tech solutions to fit each of your needs.
