Sales: Mid-Sr Level Sales Rep

Job Responsibilities Include:

Being an individual contributor, your responsibilities will include: New Business Development (cold calling, building joint partnerships, following up on leads produced by our internal marketing, vendors, etc.), Service Existing Accounts, Establish New Selling Opportunities, Formulating and presenting security solutions to fit customer needs today and in the future. Travel within New England. You will work out of our Hudson, MA office. Manage daily activity, including daily contacts, presentations and sales calls both in-person and on the phone.

  • Achieve revenue and margin objectives
  • Generating leads from cold calling, speaking engagements, tradeshows, networking and personal selling
  • Conduct webinars and on-site sales presentations and demonstrations of the solutions
  • Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships. Build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Prepare strategic plans regarding: Daily activities, lead generation, customer contact, and structure of calls and appointments and follow-up
  • Determine customers’ needs via consultative selling
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Maintain CRM and prepare status reports as required


Skills:

A proven track record in technology sales, Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience, proven track record of significant quota achievement and demonstrated career stability, ability to sell to IT Mgr/MIS Director, & C-Level. Requires ambition, self-starter attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, professional appearance, and being a sales 'hunter'. Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • Strong technology background, working knowledge of Internet protocols, web based visibility, security and network infrastructure with the ability to articulate these technologies to customers.
  • A strong track record of over achieving sales objectives.
  • Ability to build ROI business and pricing models.
  • Strong solution selling skills, including extensive experience calling on key decision makers at ALL levels of an organization from the IT manager to the CIO.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer expectations in highly complex, political environments and mitigating pre- and post-sale risks.
  • Ability to learn and understand basic network topologies
  • Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills as well as creation and delivery of executive presentations
  • Successful Sales Track Record with specifics on quota achievement
  • Ability to master technical products and understand how they protect a customer’s network.
  • Computer literate in terms of standard Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with network infrastructure

  • Must be a self-starter, positive outlook, and have a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to function in an independent environment.
